سَبَّحَ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِۚ وَهُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ
— Transliteration
Sabbaha lillahi ma fee assamawatiwama fee al-ardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeem
سَبَّحَ
sabbaḥa
Glorifies
تسبیح کی ہے
لِلّٰهِ
lillahi
Allah
اللہ کے
مَا
mā
whatever
ہر چیز نے جو
فِى
fī
(is) in
میں
السَّمٰوٰتِ
l-samāwāti
the heavens
آسمانوں میں ہے
وَمَا
wamā
and whatever
اور جو
فِى
fī
(is) in
میں
الۡاَرۡضِۚ
l-arḍi
the earth
زمین میں ہے
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
اور وہ
الۡعَزِيۡزُ
l-ʿazīzu
(is) the All-Mighty
زبردست ہے
الۡحَكِيۡمُ
l-ḥakīmu
the All-Wise
حکمت والا ہے
Urdu —
جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے (سب) اللہ کی تسبیح کرتے ہیں، اور وہ بڑی عزت و غلبہ والا بڑی حکمت والا ہےo
— English
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لِمَ تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoolima taqooloona ma la tafAAaloon
يٰۤاَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
**O you who believe!
اے
الَّذِيۡنَ
alladhīna
(you) who
لوگو
اٰمَنُوۡا
āmanū
believe
جو ایمان لائے ہو
لِمَ
lima
Why
کیوں
تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ
taqūlūna
(do) you say
تم کہتے ہو
مَا
mā
what
وہ جو
لَا
lā
**you do not do?
نہیں
تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ
tafʿalūna
you do
تم کرتے
Urdu —
اے ایمان والو! تم وہ باتیں کیوں کہتے ہو جو تم کرتے نہیں ہوo
— English
O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do?
كَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ اَنۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Kabura maqtan AAinda Allahi antaqooloo ma la tafAAaloon
كَبُرَ

Great is
بڑا ہے
مَقۡتًا
maqtan
hatred
بغض میں۔ ناراضگی میں
عِنۡدَ
ʿinda
with
ہاں
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
Allah
اللہ کے
اَنۡ
an
that
کہ
تَقُوۡلُوۡا
taqūlū
you say
تم کہو
مَا
mā
what
وہ جو
لَا
lā
**you do not do?
نہیں
تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ
tafʿalūna
you do
تم کرتے
Urdu —
اللہ کے نزدیک بہت سخت ناپسندیدہ بات یہ ہے کہ تم وہ بات کہو جو خود نہیں کرتےo
— English
Great is hatred in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do.
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الَّذِيۡنَ يُقَاتِلُوۡنَ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِهٖ صَفًّا كَاَنَّهُمۡ بُنۡيَانٌ مَّرۡصُوۡصٌ
— Transliteration
Inna Allaha yuhibbu allatheenayuqatiloona fee sabeelihi saffan kaannahum bunyanunmarsoos
اِنَّ
inna
Indeed,
بیشک
اللّٰهَ
l-laha
Allah
اللہ تعالیٰ
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbu
loves
محبت رکھتا ہے
الَّذِيۡنَ
alladhīna
those who
ان لوگوں سے
يُقَاتِلُوۡنَ
yuqātilūna
fight
جو جنگ کرتے ہیں
فِىۡ
fī
in
میں
سَبِيۡلِهٖ
sabīlihi
His Way
اس کے راستے (میں)
صَفًّا
ṣaffan
(in) a row
صف بستہ ہو کر۔ صف بنا کر
كَاَنَّهُمۡ
ka-annahum
as if they
گویا کہ وہ
بُنۡيَانٌ
bun'yānun
(were) a structure
دیوار ہیں۔ عمارت ہیں
مَّرۡصُوۡصٌ
marṣūṣun
joined firmly
سیسہ پلائی ہوئی
Urdu —
بیشک اللہ ان لوگوں کو پسند فرماتا ہے جو اُس کی راہ میں (یوں) صف بستہ ہو کر لڑتے ہیں گویا وہ سیسہ پلائی ہوئی دیوار ہوںo
— English
Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a [single] structure joined firmly.
وَاِذۡ قَالَ مُوۡسٰى لِقَوۡمِهٖ يٰقَوۡمِ لِمَ تُؤۡذُوۡنَنِىۡ وَقَد تَّعۡلَمُوۡنَ اَنِّىۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰهِ اِلَيۡكُمۡؕ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوۡۤا اَزَاغَ اللّٰهُ قُلُوۡبَهُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهۡدِىۡ الۡقَوۡمَ الۡفٰسِقِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi ya qawmi lima tu/thoonanee waqadtaAAlamoona annee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum falamma zaghooazagha Allahu quloobahum wallahu layahdee alqawma alfasiqeen
وَاِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
اور جب
قَالَ
qāla
said
کہا
مُوۡسٰى
mūsā
Musa
موسیٰ نے
لِقَوۡمِهٖ
liqawmihi
to his people
اپنی قوم سے
يٰقَوۡمِ
yāqawmi
O my people
اے میری قوم
لِمَ
lima
Why
کیوں
تُؤۡذُوۡنَنِىۡ
tu'dhūnanī
do you hurt me
تم مجھ کو اذیت دیتے ہو
وَقَد
waqad
while certainly
حالانکہ تحقیق
تَّعۡلَمُوۡنَ
taʿlamūna
you know
تم جانتے ہو
اَنِّىۡ
annī
that I am
بیشک میں
رَسُوۡلُ
rasūlu
(the) Messenger
رسول ہوں
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
اللہ کا
اِلَيۡكُمۡؕ
ilaykum
to you
تمہاری طرف
فَلَمَّا
falammā
Then when
پھر جب
زَاغُوۡۤا
zāghū
they deviated
وہ ٹیڑھے ہوئے
اَزَاغَ
azāgha
(was caused to) deviate
ٹیڑھا کردیا
اللّٰهُ
l-lahu
(by) Allah
اللہ نے
قُلُوۡبَهُمۡؕ
qulūbahum
their hearts
ان کے دلوں کو
وَاللّٰهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
اور اللہ
لَا
lā
(does) not
نہیں
يَهۡدِى
yahdī
guide
ہدایت دیتا
الۡقَوۡمَ
l-qawma
the people
قوم کو
الۡفٰسِقِيۡنَ
l-fāsiqīna
the defiantly disobedient
فاسق
Urdu —
اور (اے حبیب! وہ وقت یاد کیجئے) جب موسٰی (علیہ السلام) نے اپنی قوم سے کہا: اے میری قوم! تم مجھے اذیت کیوں دیتے ہو حالانکہ تم جانتے ہو کہ میں تمہاری طرف اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا (رسول) ہوں۔ پھر جب انہوں نے کج روی جاری رکھی تو اللہ نے اُن کے دلوں کو ٹیڑھا کر دیا، اور اللہ نافرمان لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتاo
— English
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you harm me while you certainly know that I am the messenger of Allah to you?" And when they deviated, Allah caused their hearts to deviate. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.
وَاِذۡ قَالَ عِيۡسَى ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ يٰبَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرآءِيۡلَ اِنِّىۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰهِ اِلَيۡكُمۡ مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ التَّوۡرٰٮةِ وَمُبَشِّرًۢا بِرَسُوۡلٍ يَّاۡتِىۡ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِىۡ اسۡمُهٗۤ اَحۡمَدُؕ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ قَالُوۡا هٰذَا سِحۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ
— Transliteration
Wa-ith qala AAeesa ibnumaryama ya banee isra-eela innee rasoolu Allahiilaykum musaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina attawratiwamubashshiran birasoolin ya/tee min baAAdee ismuhu ahmadufalamma jaahum bilbayyinati qaloohatha sihrun mubeen
وَاِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
اور جب
قَالَ
qāla
said
کہا
عِيۡسَى
ʿīsā
Isa,
عیسیٰ
ابۡنُ
ub'nu
son
ابن
مَرۡيَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam,
مریم نے
يٰبَنِىۡۤ
yābanī
O Children
اے بنی
اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ
is'rāīla
(of) Israel
اسرائیل
اِنِّىۡ
innī
Indeed, I am
بیشک میں
رَسُوۡلُ
rasūlu
(the) Messenger
رسول ہوں
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
اللہ کا
اِلَيۡكُمۡ
ilaykum
to you
تمہاری طرف
مُّصَدِّقًا
muṣaddiqan
confirming
تصدیق کرنے والا ہوں
لِّمَا
limā
that which
واسطے اس کے جو
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(was) between
درمیان
يَدَىَّ
yadayya
my hands
میرے آگے ہے
مِنَ
mina
of
سے
التَّوۡرٰٮةِ
l-tawrāti
the Taurat
تورات میں سے
وَمُبَشِّرًۢا
wamubashiran
and bringing glad tidings
اور خوش خبری دینے والا ہوں
بِرَسُوۡلٍ
birasūlin
(of) a Messenger
ایک رسول کی
يَّاۡتِىۡ
yatī
to come
آئے گا
مِنۡۢ
min
**after me,
سے
بَعۡدِى
baʿdī
after me
میرے بعد
اسۡمُهٗۤ
us'muhu
whose name (will be)
اس کا نام
اَحۡمَدُؕ
aḥmadu
Ahmad.`
احمد ہوگا
فَلَمَّا
falammā
But when
پھر جب
جَآءَهُمۡ
jāahum
he came to them
وہ آیا ان کے پاس
بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ
bil-bayināti
with clear proofs
ساتھ روشن دلائل کے
قَالُوۡا
qālū
they said
انہوں نے کہا
هٰذَا
hādhā
`This
یہ
سِحۡرٌ
siḥ'run
(is) a magic
جادو ہے
مُّبِيۡنٌ
mubīnun
clear
کھلا
Urdu —
اور (وہ وقت بھی یاد کیجئے) جب عیسٰی بن مریم (علیہما السلام) نے کہا: اے بنی اسرائیل! بیشک میں تمہاری طرف اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا (رسول) ہوں، اپنے سے پہلی کتاب تورات کی تصدیق کرنے والا ہوں اور اُس رسولِ (معظّم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی آمد آمد) کی بشارت سنانے والا ہوں جو میرے بعد تشریف لا رہے ہیں جن کا نام (آسمانوں میں اس وقت) احمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہے، پھر جب وہ (رسولِ آخر الزماں صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) واضح نشانیاں لے کر اُن کے پاس تشریف لے آئے تو وہ کہنے لگے: یہ تو کھلا جادو ہےo
— English
And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."
وَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ الۡكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدۡعٰٓى اِلَى الۡاِسۡلَامِؕ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهۡدِىۡ الۡقَوۡمَ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Waman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi alkathiba wahuwa yudAAaila al-islami wallahu layahdee alqawma aththalimeen
وَمَنۡ
waman
And who
اور کون
اَظۡلَمُ
aẓlamu
(is) more wrong
بڑا ظالم ہے
مِمَّنِ
mimmani
than (one) who
اس سے جو
افۡتَـرٰى
if'tarā
invents
گھڑے
عَلَى
ʿalā
upon
پر
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
Allah
اللہ (پر)
الۡكَذِبَ
l-kadhiba
the lie
جھوٹ کو
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while he
حالانکہ وہ
يُدۡعٰٓى
yud'ʿā
is invited
بلایا جاتا ہو
اِلَى
ilā
to
طرف
الۡاِسۡلَامِ ؕ
l-is'lāmi
Islam
اسلام کی (طرف)
وَاللّٰهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
اور اللہ
لَا
lā
(does) not
نہیں
يَهۡدِى
yahdī
guide
ہدایت دیتا
الۡقَوۡمَ
l-qawma
the people
قوم کو
الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ
l-ẓālimīna
[the] wrongdoers
ظالم
Urdu —
اور اس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جو اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھے حالانکہ اسے اسلام کی طرف بلایا جا رہا ہو، اور اللہ ظالم لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتاo
— English
And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah untruth while he is being invited to Islam. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
يُرِيۡدُوۡنَ لِيُطۡفِـُٔـوۡا نُوۡرَ اللّٰهِ بِاَفۡوَاهِهِمْ وَاللّٰهُ مُتِمُّ نُوۡرِهٖ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Yureedoona liyutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim wallahu mutimmu noorihi walawkariha alkafiroon
يُرِيۡدُوۡنَ
yurīdūna
They intend
وہ چاہتے ہیں
لِيُطۡفِــُٔـوۡا
liyuṭ'fiū
to put out
کہ بجھادیں
نُوۡرَ
nūra
(the) light
نور کو
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
اللہ کے
بِاَ فۡوَاهِهِمْ
bi-afwāhihim
with their mouths
اپنے مونہوں سے
وَاللّٰهُ
wal-lahu
but Allah
اور اللہ
مُتِمُّ
mutimmu
will perfect
پورا کرنے والا ہے
نُوۡرِهٖ
nūrihi
His Light
اپنے نور کو
وَلَوۡ
walaw
although
اور اگرچہ
كَرِهَ
kariha
dislike
ناپسند کرتے ہوں
الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ
l-kāfirūna
the disbelievers
کافر
Urdu —
یہ (منکرینِ حق) چاہتے ہیں کہ وہ اللہ کے نور کو اپنے منہ (کی پھونکوں) سے بجھا دیں، جبکہ اللہ اپنے نور کو پورا فرمانے والا ہے اگرچہ کافر کتنا ہی ناپسند کریںo
— English
They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.
هُوَ الَّذِىۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَهٗ بِالۡهُدٰى وَدِيۡنِ الۡحَـقِّ لِيُظۡهِرَهٗ عَلَى الدِّيۡنِ كُلِّهٖ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ الۡمُشۡرِكُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Huwa allathee arsala rasoolahu bilhudawadeeni alhaqqi liyuthhirahu AAala addeenikullihi walaw kariha almushrikoon
هُوَ
huwa
He
وہ اللہ
الَّذِىۡۤ
alladhī
(is) the One Who
وہ ذات ہے
اَرۡسَلَ
arsala
sent
جس نے بھیجا
رَسُوۡلَهٗ
rasūlahu
His Messenger
اپنے رسول کو
بِالۡهُدٰى
bil-hudā
with guidance
ہدایت کے ساتھ
وَدِيۡنِ
wadīni
and (the) religion
اور دین
الۡحَـقِّ
l-ḥaqi
(of) the truth
حق کے ساتھ
لِيُظۡهِرَهٗ
liyuẓ'hirahu
to make it prevail
تاکہ غالب کردے اس کو
عَلَى
ʿalā
over
اوپر
الدِّيۡنِ
l-dīni
the religion
دین کے
كُلِّهٖ
kullihi
all of them
سارے کے سارے اس کے
وَلَوۡ
walaw
although
اور اگرچہ
كَرِهَ
kariha
dislike (it)
ناپسند کریں
الۡمُشۡرِكُوۡنَ
l-mush'rikūna
the polytheists
مشرک
Urdu —
وہی ہے جس نے اپنے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو ہدایت اور دینِ حق دے کر بھیجا تاکہ اسے سب ادیان پر غالب و سربلند کردے خواہ مشرک کتنا ہی ناپسند کریںo
— English
It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although those who associate others with Allah dislike it.
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا هَلۡ اَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلٰى تِجَارَةٍ تُنۡجِيۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ اَلِيۡمٍ
— Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoohal adullukum AAala tijaratin tunjeekum min AAathabinaleem
يٰۤاَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
**O you who believe!
اے
الَّذِيۡنَ
alladhīna
(you) who
لوگو
اٰمَنُوۡا
āmanū
believe
جو ایمان لائے ہو
هَلۡ
hal
Shall
کیا
اَدُلُّكُمۡ
adullukum
I guide you
میں رہنمائی کروں تمہاری
عَلٰى
ʿalā
to
اوپر
تِجَارَةٍ
tijāratin
a transaction
ایک تجارت
تُنۡجِيۡكُمۡ
tunjīkum
(that) will save you
کے بچائے تم کو
مِّنۡ
min
from
سے
عَذَابٍ
ʿadhābin
a punishment
عذاب (سے)
اَلِيۡمٍ
alīmin
painful
دردناک
Urdu —
اے ایمان والو! کیا میں تمہیں ایک ایسی تجارت بتا دوں جو تم کو دردناک عذاب سے بچا لے؟o
— English
O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment?
تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَتُجَاهِدُوۡنَ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ بِاَمۡوَالِكُمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِكُمۡؕ ذٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٌ لَّـكُمۡ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Tu/minoona billahiwarasoolihi watujahidoona fee sabeeli Allahi bi-amwalikumwaanfusikum thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoon
تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ
tu'minūna
Believe
تم ایمان لاؤ
بِاللّٰهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
اللہ پر
وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ
warasūlihi
and His Messenger
اور اس کے رسول پر
وَتُجَاهِدُوۡنَ
watujāhidūna
and strive
اور تم جہاد کرو
فِىۡ
fī
in
میں
سَبِيۡلِ
sabīli
(the) way
راستے (میں)
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
اللہ کے
بِاَمۡوَالِكُمۡ
bi-amwālikum
with your wealth
اپنے مالوں کے ساتھ
وَاَنۡفُسِكُمۡؕ
wa-anfusikum
and your lives
اور اپنی جانوں کے ساتھ
ذٰلِكُمۡ
dhālikum
That
یہ بات
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
(is) better
بہتر ہے
لَّـكُمۡ
lakum
for you
تمہارے لیے
اِنۡ
in
if
اگر
كُنۡتُمۡ
kuntum
you
ہو تم
تَعۡلَمُوۡنَۙ
taʿlamūna
know
تم علم رکھتے
Urdu —
(وہ یہ ہے کہ) تم اللہ پر اور اُس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر (کامل) ایمان رکھو اور اللہ کی راہ میں اپنے مال و جان سے جہاد کرو، یہی تمہارے حق میں بہتر ہے اگر تم جانتے ہوo
— English
[It is that] you believe in Allah and His Messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know.
يَغۡفِرۡ لَـكُمۡ ذُنُوۡبَكُمۡ وَيُدۡخِلۡكُمۡ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ وَمَسٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِىۡ جَنّٰتِ عَدۡنٍؕ ذٰلِكَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِيۡمُۙ
— Transliteration
Yaghfir lakum thunoobakumwayudkhilkum jannatin tajree min tahtihaal-anharu wamasakina tayyibatan fee jannatiAAadnin thalika alfawzu alAAatheem
يَغۡفِرۡ
yaghfir
He will forgive
بخش دے گا
لَـكُمۡ
lakum
for you
تمہارے لیے
ذُنُوۡبَكُمۡ
dhunūbakum
your sins
تمہارے گناہوں کو
وَيُدۡخِلۡكُمۡ
wayud'khil'kum
and admit you
اور داخل کرے گا تم کو
جَنّٰتٍ
jannātin
(in) Gardens
باغوں میں
تَجۡرِىۡ
tajrī
flow
بہتی ہیں
مِنۡ
min
from
سے
تَحۡتِهَا
taḥtihā
underneath it
ان کے نیچے سے
الۡاَنۡهٰرُ
l-anhāru
the rivers
نہریں
وَمَسٰكِنَ
wamasākina
and dwellings
اور گھروں (میں)
طَيِّبَةً
ṭayyibatan
pleasant
پاکیزہ
فِىۡ
fī
in
میں
جَنّٰتِ
jannāti
Gardens
باغوں (میں )
عَدۡنٍؕ
ʿadnin
(of) Eternity.
ہمیشگی کے
ذٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
یہی ہے
الۡفَوۡزُ
l-fawzu
(is) the success
کامیابی
الۡعَظِيۡمُۙ
l-ʿaẓīmu
the great
بڑی
Urdu —
وہ تمہارے گناہوں کو بخش دے گا اور تمہیں جنتوں میں داخل فرمائے گا جن کے نیچے سے نہریں جاری ہوں گی اور نہایت عمدہ رہائش گاہوں میں (ٹھہرائے گا) جو جناتِ عدن (یعنی ہمیشہ رہنے کی جنتوں) میں ہیں، یہی زبردست کامیابی ہےo
— English
He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment.
وَاُخۡرٰى تُحِبُّوۡنَهَاؕ نَصۡرٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَفَتۡحٌ قَرِيۡبٌؕ وَبَشِّرِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Waokhra tuhibboonaha nasrunmina Allahi wafathun qarreebun wabashshirialmu/mineen
وَاُخۡرٰى
wa-ukh'rā
And another
اور دوسری چیز
تُحِبُّوۡنَهَا ؕ
tuḥibbūnahā
that you love
تم محبت رکھتے ہو اس سے
نَصۡرٌ
naṣrun
a help
مدد
مِّنَ
mina
from
سے
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
Allah
اللہ کی طرف (سے )
وَفَـتۡحٌ
wafatḥun
and a victory
اور فتح
قَرِيۡبٌ ؕ
qarībun
near
قریبی قریبی
وَبَشِّرِ
wabashiri
and give glad tidings
اور خوش خبری دو
الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ
l-mu'minīna
(to) the believers
مومنو کو
Urdu —
اور (اس اُخروی نعمت کے علاوہ) ایک دوسری (دنیوی نعمت بھی عطا فرمائے گا) جسے تم بہت چاہتے ہو، (وہ) اللہ کی جانب سے مدد اور جلد ملنے والی فتح ہے، اور (اے نبئ مکرّم!) آپ مومنوں کو خوشخبری سنا دیں (یہ فتحِ مکہ اور فارس و روم کی فتوحات کی شکل میں ظاہر ہوئی)o
— English
And [you will obtain] another [favor] that you love - victory from Allah and an imminent conquest; and give good tidings to the believers.
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا كُوۡنُوۡۤا اَنۡصَارَ اللّٰهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيۡسَى ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ لِلۡحَوارِيّٖنَ مَنۡ اَنۡصَارِىۡۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِؕ قَالَ الۡحَـوَارِيُّوۡنَ نَحۡنُ اَنۡصَارُ اللّٰهِؕ فَاٰمَنَتۡ طَّآٮِٕفَةٌ مِّنۡۢ بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرآءِيۡلَ وَكَفَرَتۡ طَّآٮِٕفَةٌ ۚ فَاَيَّدۡنَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا عَلٰى عَدُوِّهِمۡ فَاَصۡبَحُوۡا ظٰهِرِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookoonoo ansara Allahi kama qala AAeesaibnu maryama lilhawariyyeena man ansaree ilaAllahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnuansaru Allahi faamanat ta-ifatun minbanee isra-eela wakafarat ta-ifatun faayyadnaallatheena amanoo AAala AAaduwwihim faasbahoothahireen
يٰۤاَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
**O you who believe!
اے
الَّذِيۡنَ
alladhīna
who
لوگو
اٰمَنُوۡا
āmanū
believe
جو ایمان لائے ہو
كُوۡنُوۡۤا
kūnū
Be
ہوجاؤ
اَنۡصَارَ
anṣāra
helpers
مددگار
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
اللہ کے
كَمَا
kamā
as
جیسے
قَالَ
qāla
said
کہا تھا
عِيۡسَى
ʿīsā
Isa,
عیسیٰ
ابۡنُ
ub'nu
son
ابن
مَرۡيَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam,
مریم نے
لِلۡحَوٰارِيّٖنَ
lil'ḥawāriyyīna
to the disciples
حواریوں سے
مَنۡ
man
`Who
کون
اَنۡصَارِىۡۤ
anṣārī
(are) my helpers
میرا مددگار ہوگا
اِلَى

(of) Israel
اسرائیل میں سے
وَكَفَرَتۡ
wakafarat
and disbelieved
اور انکار کردیا
طَّآٮِٕفَةٌ ۚ
ṭāifatun
a group
ایک گروہ نے
فَاَيَّدۡنَا
fa-ayyadnā
So We supported
تو تائید کی ہم نے۔ مدد کی ہم نے
الَّذِيۡنَ
alladhīna
those who
ان لوگوں کی
اٰمَنُوۡا
āmanū
believed
جو ایمان لائے
عَلٰى
ʿalā
against
اوپر
عَدُوِّهِمۡ
ʿaduwwihim
their enemy
ان کے دشمنوں کے
فَاَصۡبَحُوۡا
fa-aṣbaḥū
and they became
تو ہوگئے وہ
ظٰهِرِيۡنَ
ẓāhirīna
dominant
غالب آنے والے
Urdu —
اے ایمان والو! تم اللہ کے مددگار بن جاؤ جیسا کہ عیسٰی ابن مریم (علیہما السلام) نے (اپنے) حواریوں سے کہا تھا: اللہ کی (راہ کی) طرف میرے مددگار کون ہیں؟ حواریوں نے کہا: ہم اللہ کے مددگار ہیں۔ پس بنی اسرائیل کا ایک گروہ ایمان لے آیا اور دوسرا گروہ کافر ہوگیا، سو ہم نے اُن لوگوں کی جو ایمان لے آئے تھے اُن کے دشمنوں پر مدد فرمائی پس وہ غالب ہوگئےo
— English
O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah, as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allah?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allah." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.
