اِذَا وَقَعَتِ الۡوَاقِعَةُۙ
— Transliteration

واقع ہوجائے گی
الۡوَاقِعَةُ ۙ

جب واقع ہونے والی (قیامت) واقع ہو جائے گیo

When the Occurrence occurs,
لَيۡسَ لِـوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌۘ

Laysa liwaqAAatiha kathiba

Not
نہیں ہے
لِـوَقۡعَتِهَا
liwaqʿatihā
at its occurrence
اس کا واقعہ ہونا
كَاذِبَةٌ ۘ

a denial
کوئی جھوٹ
Urdu —
اُس کے واقع ہونے میں کوئی جھوٹ نہیں ہےo
— English
There is, at its occurrence, no denial.
خَافِضَةٌ رَّافِعَةٌۙ
— Transliteration
Khafidatun rafiAAa
خَافِضَةٌ
khāfiḍatun
Bringing down
پست کرنے والی ہے
رَّافِعَةٌ ۙ
rāfiʿatun
raising up
اونچا کرنے والی ہے
Urdu —
(وہ قیامت کسی کو) نیچا کر دینے والی (کسی کو) اونچا کر دینے والی (ہے)o
— English
It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].
اِذَا رُجَّتِ الۡاَرۡضُ رَجًّاۙ
— Transliteration
Itha rujjati al-ardu rajja
اِذَا
idhā
When
جب
رُجَّتِ
rujjati
will be shaken
ہلائی جائے گی
الۡاَرۡضُ
l-arḍu
the earth
زمین
رَجًّا ۙ
rajjan
(with) a shaking
ہلایا جانا
Urdu —
جب زمین کپکپا کر شدید لرزنے لگے گیo
— English
When the earth is shaken with convulsion
وَّبُسَّتِ الۡجِبَالُ بَسًّاۙ
— Transliteration
Wabussati aljibalu bassa
وَّبُسَّتِ
wabussati
And will be crumbled
اور اڑا دیئے جائیں گے
الۡجِبَالُ
l-jibālu
the mountains
پہاڑ
بَسًّا ۙ
bassan
(with awful) crumbling
اڑا دیا جانا
Urdu —
اور پہاڑ ٹوٹ کر ریزہ ریزہ ہو جائیں گےo
— English
And the mountains are broken down, crumbling
فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءً مُّنۡۢبَثًّاۙ
— Transliteration
Fakanat habaan munbaththa
فَكَانَتۡ
fakānat
So they become
تو ہوجائیں گے
هَبَآءً
habāan
dust particles
باریک خاک۔ گرد و غبار
مُّنۡۢبَـثًّا ۙ
munbathan
dispersing
منتشر۔ پراگندہ۔ اڑتا ہوا
Urdu —
پھر وہ غبار بن کر منتشر ہو جائیں گےo
— English
And become dust dispersing.
وَّكُنۡتُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا ثَلٰثَةًؕ
— Transliteration
Wakuntum azwajan thalatha
وَّكُنۡـتُمۡ
wakuntum
And you will become
اور ہوجاؤ گے تم
اَزۡوَاجًا
azwājan
kinds
جماعتوں میں۔ گروہوں میں
ثَلٰـثَـةً ؕ
thalāthatan
three
تین
Urdu —
اور تم لوگ تین قِسموں میں بٹ جاؤ گےo
— English
And you become [of] three kinds:
فَاَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَيۡمَنَةِ ۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَيۡمَنَةِؕ
— Transliteration
Faas-habu almaymanati maas-habu almaymanat
فَاَصۡحٰبُ
fa-aṣḥābu
Then (the) companions
پس ہیں والے
الۡمَيۡمَنَةِ ۙ
l-maymanati
(of) the right
دائیں ہاتھ
مَاۤ
mā
what
کیا
اَصۡحٰبُ
aṣḥābu
(are the) companions
والے
الۡمَيۡمَنَةِ ؕ
l-maymanati
(of) the right
دائیں ہاتھ
Urdu —
سو (ایک) دائیں جانب والے، دائیں جانب والوں کا کیا کہناo
— English
Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?
وَاَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَشۡـَٔـمَةِ ۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَشۡـَٔـمَةِؕ
— Transliteration
Waas-habu almash-amati maas-habu almash-amat
وَاَصۡحٰبُ
wa-aṣḥābu
And (the) companions
اور والے
الۡمَشۡـَٔـمَةِ ۙ
l-mashamati
(of) the left
بائیں ہاتھ
مَاۤ
mā
what
کیا ہیں
اَصۡحٰبُ
aṣḥābu
(are the) companions
والے
الۡمَشۡـَٔـمَةِؕ
l-mashamati
(of) the left
بائیں ہاتھ
Urdu —
اور (دوسرے) بائیں جانب والے، کیا (ہی برے حال میں ہوں گے) بائیں جانب والےo
— English
And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?
وَالسّٰبِقُوۡنَ السّٰبِقُوۡنَۚ ۙ
— Transliteration
Wassabiqoona assabiqoon
وَالسّٰبِقُوۡنَ
wal-sābiqūna
And the foremost
اور آگے بڑھنے والے
السّٰبِقُوۡنَۚ ۙ
l-sābiqūna
(are) the foremost
آگے بڑھنے والے ہیں
Urdu —
اور (تیسرے) سبقت لے جانے والے (یہ) پیش قدمی کرنے والے ہیںo
— English
And the forerunners, the forerunners -
اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَۚ
— Transliteration
Ola-ika almuqarraboon
اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ
ulāika
Those
یہی
الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَۚ
l-muqarabūna
(are) the nearest ones
نزدیکی حاصل کرنے والے ہیں۔ یہی لوگ قرب حاصل کرنے والے ہیں
Urdu —
یہی لوگ (اللہ کے) مقرّب ہوں گےo
— English
Those are the ones brought near [to Allah]
فِىۡ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيۡمِ
— Transliteration
Fee jannati annaAAeem

Gardens
باغوں
النَّعِيۡمِ
l-naʿīmi
(of) Pleasure
نعمتوں والے

نعمتوں کے باغات میں (رہیں گے)o

In the Gardens of Pleasure,
ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Thullatun mina al-awwaleen

A company
ایک بڑا گروہ ہیں
مِّنَ

میں سے
الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَۙ

the former (people)
اگلے لوگوں

(اِن مقرّبین میں) بڑا گروہ اگلے لوگوں میں سے ہوگاo
— English
A [large] company of the former peoples
وَقَلِيۡلٌ مِّنَ الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَؕ
— Transliteration
Waqaleelun mina al-akhireena
وَقَلِيۡلٌ
waqalīlun
And a few
اور تھوڑے ہیں
مِّنَ
mina
of
میں سے
الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَؕ
l-ākhirīna
the later (people)
پچھلوں
Urdu —
اور پچھلے لوگوں میں سے (ان میں) تھوڑے ہوں گےo
— English
And a few of the later peoples,
عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مَّوۡضُوۡنَةٍۙ
— Transliteration
AAala sururin mawdoona
عَلٰى
ʿalā
On
اوپر
سُرُرٍ
sururin
thrones
تختوں کے ہوں گے
مَّوۡضُوۡنَةٍۙ
mawḍūnatin
decorated
سونے کی تاروں سے بنے ہوئے۔ بنے ہوئے
Urdu —
(یہ مقرّبین) زر نگار تختوں پر ہوں گےo
— English
On thrones woven [with ornament],
مُّتَّكِـِٕـيۡنَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقٰبِلِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Muttaki-eena AAalayha mutaqabileen
مُّتَّكِـــِٕيۡنَ
muttakiīna
Reclining
تکیہ لگائے ہوئے ہوں گے
عَلَيۡهَا
ʿalayhā
on them
ان پر
مُتَقٰبِلِيۡنَ
mutaqābilīna
facing each other
آمنے سامنے
Urdu —
اُن پر تکیے لگائے آمنے سامنے بیٹھے ہوں گےo
— English
Reclining on them, facing each other.
يَطُوۡفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُوۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Yatoofu AAalayhim wildanunmukhalladoon
يَطُوۡفُ
yaṭūfu
Will circulate
گردش کر رہے ہوں گے
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʿalayhim
among them
ان پر
وِلۡدَانٌ
wil'dānun
boys
لڑکے
مُّخَلَّدُوۡنَۙ
mukhalladūna
immortal
ہمیشہ رہنے والے
Urdu —
ہمیشہ ایک ہی حال میں رہنے والے نوجوان خدمت گار ان کے اردگرد گھومتے ہوں گےo
— English
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal
بِاَكۡوَابٍ وَّاَبَارِيۡقَ ۙ وَكَاۡسٍ مِّنۡ مَّعِيۡنٍۙ
— Transliteration
Bi-akwabin waabareeqa waka/sinmin maAAeen
بِاَكۡوَابٍ
bi-akwābin
With vessels
ساتھ پیالوں کے
وَّاَبَارِيۡقَ ۙ
wa-abārīqa
and jugs
اور ساتھ جگ کے
وَكَاۡسٍ
wakasin
and a cup
اور ساغر
مِّنۡ
min
from
کے
مَّعِيۡنٍۙ
maʿīnin
a flowing stream
بہتی شراب
Urdu —
کوزے، آفتابے اور چشموں سے بہتی ہوئی (شفاف) شرابِ (قربت) کے جام لے کر (حاضرِ خدمت رہیں گے)o
— English
With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring -
لَّا يُصَدَّعُوۡنَ عَنۡهَا وَلَا يُنۡزِفُوۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
La yusaddaAAoona AAanhawala yunzifoon
لَّا
lā
Not
نہ
يُصَدَّعُوۡنَ
yuṣaddaʿūna
they will get headache
سر ڈکھائے جائیں گے
عَنۡهَا
ʿanhā
therefrom
اس سے
وَلَا
walā
and not
اور نہ وہ
يُنۡزِفُوۡنَۙ
yunzifūna
they will get intoxicated
بےجا بولیں گے
Urdu —
انہیں نہ تو اُس (کے پینے) سے دردِ سر کی شکایت ہوگی اور نہ ہی عقل میں فتور (اور بدمستی) آئے گیo
— English
No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated -
وَفَاكِهَةٍ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُوۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Wafakihatin mimmayatakhayyaroon
وَفَاكِهَةٍ
wafākihatin
And fruits
اور پھل
مِّمَّا
mimmā
of what
اس میں سے
يَتَخَيَّرُوۡنَۙ
yatakhayyarūna
they select
جو وہ چن لیں گے
Urdu —
اور (جنّتی خدمت گزار) پھل (اور میوے) لے کر (بھی پھر رہے ہوں گے) جنہیں وہ (مقرّبین) پسند کریں گےo
— English
And fruit of what they select
وَلَحۡمِ طَيۡرٍ مِّمَّا يَشۡتَهُوۡنَؕ
— Transliteration
Walahmi tayrin mimmayashtahoon
وَلَحۡمِ
walaḥmi
And (the) flesh
اور گوشت
طَيۡرٍ
ṭayrin
(of) fowls
پرندوں کا
مِّمَّا
mimmā
of what
اس میں سے جو
يَشۡتَهُوۡنَؕ
yashtahūna
they desire
وہ خواہش کریں گے
Urdu —
اور پرندوں کا گوشت بھی (دستیاب ہوگا) جِس کی وہ (اہلِ قربت) خواہش کریں گےo
— English
And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire.
وَحُوۡرٌ عِيۡنٌۙ
— Transliteration
Wahoorun AAeen
وَحُوۡرٌ
waḥūrun
And fair ones
اور حوریں
عِيۡنٌۙ
ʿīnun
(with) large eyes
بڑی آنکھوں والی
Urdu —
اور خوبصورت کشادہ آنکھوں والی حوریں بھی (اُن کی رفاقت میں ہوں گی)o
— English
And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes,
كَاَمۡثَالِ اللُّـؤۡلُـوٴِ الۡمَكۡنُوۡنِۚ
— Transliteration
Kaamthali allu/lui almaknoon
كَاَمۡثَالِ

Like
جیسے مثلا
اللُّـؤۡلُـوٴِ

pearls
موتی
الۡمَكۡنُوۡنِۚ

well-protected
چھپے ہوئے

جیسے محفوظ چھپائے ہوئے موتی ہوںo

The likenesses of pearls well-protected,
جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Jazaan bima kanooyaAAmaloon
جَزَآءًۢ
jazāan
A reward
بدلہ ہے
بِمَا
bimā
for what
بوجہ اس کے
كَانُوۡا
kānū
they used (to)
جو تھے وہ
يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ

وہ عمل کرتے

(یہ) اُن (نیک) اعمال کی جزا ہوگی جو وہ کرتے رہے تھےo

As reward for what they used to do.
لَا يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا لَغۡوًا وَّلَا تَاۡثِيۡمًاۙ
— Transliteration
La yasmaAAoona feeha laghwanwala ta/theema

نہ
يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ

they will hear
وہ سنیں گے
فِيۡهَا

وہ اِس میں نہ کوئی بیہودگی سنیں گے اور نہ کوئی گناہ کی باتo

They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin -
اِلَّا قِيۡلاً سَلٰمًا سَلٰمًا
— Transliteration
Illa qeelan salaman salama
اِلَّا

بات ہوگی

Only a saying: "Peace, peace."

And banana trees
اور کیلے
مَّنۡضُوۡدٍۙ
manḍūdin
layered
تہ بہ تہ
Urdu —
اور تہ بہ تہ کیلوں میںo
— English
And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]
وَظِلٍّ مَّمۡدُوۡدٍۙ
— Transliteration
Wathillin mamdood
وَّظِلٍّ

And shade
اور سائے
مَّمۡدُوۡدٍۙ

extended
لمبے
Urdu —
اور لمبے لمبے (پھیلے ہوئے) سایوں میںo
— English
And shade extended
وَّمَآءٍ مَّسۡكُوۡبٍۙ
— Transliteration
Wama-in maskoob
وَّ مَآءٍ

And water
اور پانی
مَّسۡكُوۡبٍۙ
maskūbin
poured forth
بہتا ہوا۔ اوپر سے نیچے گرتا ہوا

اور بہتے چھلکتے پانیوں میںo

And water poured out
وَّفَاكِهَةٍ كَثِيۡرَةٍۙ

وَّفَاكِهَةٍ

And fruit
اور پھل
كَثِيۡرَةٍۙ

abundant
بہت سے

اور بکثرت پھلوں اور میووں میں (لطف اندوز ہوں گے)o

And fruit, abundant [and varied],
لَّا مَقۡطُوۡعَةٍ وَّلَا مَمۡنُوۡعَةٍۙ

Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden,
وَّفُرُشٍ مَّرۡفُوۡعَةٍؕ
— Transliteration
Wafurushin marfooAAa
وَّ فُرُشٍ
wafurushin
And (on) couches
اور نشست گاہیں
مَّرۡفُوۡعَةٍؕ
marfūʿatin
raised
اونچی
Urdu —
اور (وہ) اونچے (پرشکوہ) فرشوں پر (قیام پذیر) ہوں گےo
— English
And [upon] beds raised high.
اِنَّاۤ اَنۡشَاۡنٰهُنَّ اِنۡشَآءًۙ
— Transliteration
Inna ansha/nahunna inshaa
اِنَّاۤ
innā
Indeed, We
بیشک ہم نے
اَنۡشَاۡنٰهُنَّ
anshanāhunna
[We] have produced them
پیدا کیا ہم نے ان کو
اِنۡشَآءًۙ
inshāan
(into) a creation
خاص طور پر بنا کر۔ پیدا کر کے
Urdu —
بیشک ہم نے اِن (حوروں) کو (حسن و لطافت کی آئینہ دار) خاص خِلقت پر پیدا فرمایا ہےo
— English
Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation
فَجَعَلۡنٰهُنَّ اَبۡكَارًاۙ
— Transliteration
FajaAAalnahunna abkara
فَجَعَلۡنٰهُنَّ
fajaʿalnāhunna
And We have made them
تو بنایا ہم نے ان کو
اَبۡكَارًاۙ
abkāran
virgins
کنواریاں
Urdu —
پھر ہم نے اِن کو کنواریاں بنایا ہےo
— English
And made them virgins,
عُرُبًا اَتۡرَابًاۙ
— Transliteration
AAuruban atraba
عُرُبًا
ʿuruban
Devoted
خاوندوں کی پیاریاں
اَتۡرَابًاۙ
atrāban
equals in age
ہم عمر
Urdu —
جو خوب محبت کرنے والی ہم عمر (ازواج) ہیںo
— English
Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age,
لِّاَصۡحٰبِ الۡيَمِيۡنِؕ
— Transliteration
Li-as-habi alyameen
لِّاَصۡحٰبِ

For (the) companions
والوں کے لیے
الۡيَمِيۡنِؕ
l-yamīni
(of) the right
دائیں ہاتھ

یہ (حوریں اور دیگر نعمتیں) دائیں جانب والوں کے لئے ہیںo

For the companions of the right [who are]
ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَۙ

And a company

[They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water

وَّظِلٍّ

And a shade
اور سائے
مِّنۡ

يَّحۡمُوۡمٍۙ

black smoke
سیاہ دھوئیں کے

اور سیاہ دھویں کے سایے میں ہوں گےo

And a shade of black smoke,
لَّا بَارِدٍ وَّلَا كَرِيۡمٍ
— Transliteration
La baridin wala kareem

Neither cool nor beneficial.
اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا قَبۡلَ ذٰلِكَ مُتۡرَفِيۡنَۚ ۖ
— Transliteration
Innahum kanoo qabla thalikamutrafeen
اِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed, they
کیونکہ
كَانُوۡا
kānū
were
وہ تھے
قَبۡلَ
qabla
before
پہلے
ذٰ
dhālika
that
اس سے
لِكَ مُتۡرَفِيۡنَۚ ۖ
mut'rafīna
indulging in affluence
نعمتوں میں پلے ہوئے
Urdu —
بیشک وہ (اہلِ دوزخ) اس سے پہلے (دنیا میں) خوش حال رہ چکے تھےo
— English
Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence,
وَكَانُوۡا يُصِرُّوۡنَ عَلَى الۡحِنۡثِ الۡعَظِيۡمِۚ
— Transliteration
Wakanoo yusirroona AAalaalhinthi alAAatheem
وَكَانُوۡا
wakānū
And were
اور تھے وہ
يُصِرُّوۡنَ
yuṣirrūna
persisting
اصرار کرتے
عَلَى
ʿalā
in
پر
الۡحِنۡثِ
l-ḥinthi
the sin
گناہ
الۡعَظِيۡمِۚ
l-ʿaẓīmi
the great
بڑے
Urdu —
اور وہ گناہِ عظیم (یعنی کفر و شرک) پر اصرار کیا کرتے تھےo
— English
And they used to persist in the great violation,
وَكَانُوۡا يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ ۙ اَٮِٕذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Wakanoo yaqooloona a-itha mitnawakunna turaban waAAithamana-inna lamabAAoothoon
وَكَانُوۡا
wakānū
And they used (to)
اور وہ
يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ ۙ
yaqūlūna
say
کہا کرتے تھے
اَٮِٕذَا
a-idhā
When
کیا جب
مِتۡنَا
mit'nā
we die
ہم مرجائیں گے
وَكُنَّا
wakunnā
and become
اور ہم ہوں گے
تُرَابًا
turāban
dust
مٹی
وَّعِظَامًا
waʿiẓāman
and bones
اور ہڈیاں
ءَاِنَّا
a-innā
will we
کیا بیشک ہم
لَمَبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَۙ
lamabʿūthūna
surely be resurrected
ہم پھر دوبارہ اٹھائے جائیں گے
Urdu —
اور کہا کرتے تھے کہ کیا جب ہم مر جائیں گے اور ہم خاک (کا ڈھیر) اور (بوسیدہ) ہڈیاں ہو جائیں گے تو کیا ہم (پھر زندہ کر کے) اٹھائے جائیں گےo
— English
And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
اَوَاٰبَآؤُنَا الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Awa abaona al-awwaloon
اَوَاٰبَآؤُنَا
awaābāunā
And also our fathers
کیا بھلا ہمارے آباؤ اجداد
الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَ
l-awalūna
former
پہلے (بھی)
Urdu —
اور کیا ہمارے اگلے باپ دادا بھی (زندہ کئے جائیں گے) o
— English
And our forefathers [as well]?"
قُلۡ اِنَّ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ وَالۡاٰخِرِيۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Qul inna al-awwaleena wal-akhireen

Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples
لَمَجۡمُوۡعُوۡنَ ۙ اِلٰى مِيۡقَاتِ يَوۡمٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٍ
— Transliteration
LamajmooAAoona ila meeqatiyawmin maAAloom
لَمَجۡمُوۡعُوۡنَ ۙ
lamajmūʿūna
Surely, will be gathered
ضرور جمع کیے جانے والے ہیں
اِلٰى

مِيۡقَاتِ

(the) appointment
ایک وقت
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
(of) a Day
دن کے
مَّعۡلُوۡمٍ

(سب کے سب) ایک معیّن دِن کے مقررّہ وقت پر جمع کئے جائیں گےo
— English
Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day."
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمۡ اَيُّهَا الضَّآلُّوۡنَ الۡمُكَذِّبُوۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Thumma innakum ayyuha addalloonaalmukaththiboon
ثُمَّ

اِنَّكُمۡ

indeed you,
بیشک تم
اَيُّهَا
ayyuhā
**O those astray!
اے
الضَّآلُّوۡنَ
l-ḍālūna
O those astray
گمراہو
الۡمُكَذِّبُوۡنَۙ
l-mukadhibūna
the deniers
جھٹلانے والو
Urdu —
پھر بیشک تم لوگ اے گمراہو! جھٹلانے والوo
— English
Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers,
لَاٰكِلُوۡنَ مِنۡ شَجَرٍ مِّنۡ زَقُّوۡمٍۙ
— Transliteration
Laakiloona min shajarin min zaqqoom
لَاٰكِلُوۡنَ
laākilūna
Will surely eat
البتہ کھانے والے ہو
مِنۡ

(the) tree

Will be eating from trees of zaqqum
فَمٰلِــُٔوۡنَ مِنۡهَا الۡبُطُوۡنَۚ
— Transliteration
Famali-oona minha albutoon
فَمٰلِــُٔوۡنَ
famāliūna
Then will fill
پھر بھرنے والے ہو
مِنۡهَا
min'hā
with it
اس سے
الۡبُطُوۡنَۚ
l-buṭūna
the bellies
پیٹوں کو
Urdu —
سو اُس سے اپنے پیٹ بھرنے والے ہوo
— English
And filling with it your bellies
فَشٰرِبُوۡنَ عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ الۡحَمِيۡمِۚ
— Transliteration
Fashariboona AAalayhi mina alhameem
فَشٰرِبُوۡنَ
fashāribūna
And drink
پھر پینے والے ہو
عَلَيۡهِ
ʿalayhi
over it
اس پر
مِنَ
mina
[from]
میں سے
الۡحَمِيۡمِۚ
l-ḥamīmi
the scalding water
کھولتے پانی
Urdu —
پھر اُس پر سخت کھولتا پانی پینے والے ہوo
— English
And drinking on top of it from scalding water
فَشٰرِبُوۡنَ شُرۡبَ الۡهِيۡمِؕ
— Transliteration
Fashariboona shurba alheem
فَشٰرِبُوۡنَ
fashāribūna
And will drink
پھر پینے والے ہو
شُرۡبَ
shur'ba
(as) drinking
پینا
الۡهِيۡمِؕ
l-hīmi
(of) the thirsty camels
پیاسے اونٹ کی طرح کا
Urdu —
پس تم سخت پیاسے اونٹ کے پینے کی طرح پینے والے ہوo
— English
And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels.
هٰذَا نُزُلُهُمۡ يَوۡمَ الدِّيۡنِؕ
— Transliteration
Hatha nuzuluhum yawma addeen
هٰذَا
hādhā
This
یہ ہے
نُزُلُهُمۡ
nuzuluhum
(is) their hospitality
مہمانی ان کی
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
دن
الدِّيۡنِؕ
l-dīni
(of) Judgment
جزا سزا کے
Urdu —
یہ قیامت کے دِن اُن کی ضیافت ہوگیo

That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense.
نَحۡنُ خَلَقۡنٰكُمۡ فَلَوۡلَا تُصَدِّقُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Nahnu khalaqnakum falawlatusaddiqoon
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
We
ہم نے
خَلَقۡنٰكُمۡ
khalaqnākum
[We] created you
پیدا کیا ہم نے تم کو
فَلَوۡلَا
falawlā
so why (do) not
پس کیوں نہیں
تُصَدِّقُوۡنَ
tuṣaddiqūna
you admit the truth
تم تصدیق کرتے ہو۔ تم یقین کرتے۔ سچ مانتے
Urdu —
ہم ہی نے تمہیں پیدا کیا تھا پھر تم (دوبارہ پیدا کئے جانے کی) تصدیق کیوں نہیں کرتےo
— English
We have created you, so why do you not believe?
اَفَرَءَيۡتُمۡ مَّا تُمۡنُوۡنَؕ
— Transliteration
Afaraaytum ma tumnoon
اَفَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
afara-aytum
Do you see
کیا بھلا دیکھا تم نے
مَّا
mā
what
جو
تُمۡنُوۡنَؕ
tum'nūna
you emit
نطفہ تم ٹپکاتے ہو
Urdu —
بھلا یہ بتاؤ جو نطفہ (تولیدی قطرہ) تم (رِحم میں) ٹپکاتے ہوo
— English
Have you seen that which you emit?
ءَاَنۡتُمۡ تَخۡلُقُوۡنَهٗۤ اَمۡ نَحۡنُ الۡخَـالِقُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Aantum takhluqoonahu am nahnu alkhaliqoon
ءَاَنۡتُمۡ
a-antum
Is it you
کیا تم
تَخۡلُقُوۡنَهٗۤ
takhluqūnahu
who create it
تم پیدا کرتے ہو اس کو
اَمۡ
am
or
یا
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
(are) We
ہم ہیں
الۡخٰلِقُوۡنَ
l-khāliqūna
the Creators
جو پیدا کرنے والے ہیں
Urdu —
تو کیا اس (سے انسان) کو تم پیدا کرتے ہو یا ہم پیدا فرمانے والے ہیںo
— English
Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator?
نَحۡنُ قَدَّرۡنَا بَيۡنَكُمُ الۡمَوۡتَ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوۡقِيۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Nahnu qaddarna baynakumualmawta wama nahnu bimasbooqeen
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
We
ہم نے
قَدَّرۡنَا
qaddarnā
[We] have decreed
تقسیم کی ہم نے
بَيۡنَكُمُ
baynakumu
among you
تمہارے درمیان
الۡمَوۡتَ
l-mawta
the death

وَمَا
wamā
and not
اور نہیں
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
We
ہم
بِمَسۡبُوۡقِيۡنَۙ
bimasbūqīna
(are) outrun
ہارنے والے۔ مغلوب ہونے والے
Urdu —
ہم ہی نے تمہارے درمیان موت کو مقرّر فرمایا ہے اور ہم (اِس کے بعد پھر زندہ کرنے سے بھی) عاجز نہیں ہیںo
— English
We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone
عَلٰٓى اَنۡ نُّبَدِّلَ اَمۡثَالَكُمۡ وَنُـنۡشِئَكُمۡ فِىۡ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
AAala an nubaddila amthalakumwanunshi-akum fee ma la taAAlamoon

In

نُّبَدِّلَ

We (will) change
ہم بدل ڈالیں
اَمۡثَالَـكُمۡ

and produce you
اور نئے سرے سے ہم پیدا کریں گے تم کو

تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

جانتے
Urdu —
اس بات سے (بھی عاجز نہیں ہیں) کہ تمہارے جیسے اوروں کو بدل (کر بنا) دیں اور تمہیں ایسی صورت میں پیدا کر دیں جسے تم جانتے بھی نہ ہوo
— English
In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know.
وَلَـقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُمُ النَّشۡاَةَ الۡاُوۡلٰى فَلَوۡلَا تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Walaqad AAalimtumu annash-ata al-oolafalawla tathakkaroon
وَلَـقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
اور البتہ تحقیق
عَلِمۡتُمُ
ʿalim'tumu
you know
جان لیا تم نے
النَّشۡاَةَ
l-nashata
the creation
پیدائش کو
الۡاُوۡلٰى
l-ūlā
the first
پہلی دفعہ کی
فَلَوۡلَا
falawlā
so why not
تو کیوں نہیں
تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ
tadhakkarūna
you take heed
تم نصیحت پکڑتے
Urdu —
اور بیشک تم نے پہلے پیدائش (کی حقیقت) معلوم کر لی پھر تم نصیحت قبول کیوں نہیں کرتےo
— English
And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember?
اَفَرَءَيۡتُمۡ مَّا تَحۡرُثُوۡنَؕ
— Transliteration
Afaraaytum ma tahruthoon
اَفَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
afara-aytum
And do you see
کیا بھلا دیکھا تم نے۔ غور کیا تم نے
مَّا
mā
what
جو
تَحۡرُثُوۡنَؕ
taḥruthūna
you sow
بیج تم بوتے ہو
Urdu —
بھلا یہ بتاؤ جو (بیج) تم کاشت کرتے ہوo
— English
And have you seen that [seed] which you sow?
ءَاَنۡتُمۡ تَزۡرَعُوۡنَهٗۤ اَمۡ نَحۡنُ الزَّارِعُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Aantum tazraAAoonahu am nahnu azzariAAoon
ءَاَنۡتُمۡ
a-antum
Is it you (who)
کیا تم
تَزۡرَعُوۡنَهٗۤ
tazraʿūnahu
cause it to grow
تم اگاتے ہو اس کو
اَمۡ
am
or
یا
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
(are) We
ہم
الزّٰرِعُوۡنَ
l-zāriʿūna
the Ones Who grow
اگانے والے ہیں
Urdu —
تو کیا اُس (سے کھیتی) کو تم اُگاتے ہو یا ہم اُگانے والے ہیںo
— English
Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower?
لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَـعَلۡنٰهُ حُطَامًا فَظَلۡتُمۡ تَفَكَّهُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Law nashao lajaAAalnahu hutamanfathaltum tafakkahoon
لَوۡ

If
اگر
نَشَآءُ

We willed
ہم چاہیں
لَجَـعَلۡنٰهُ
lajaʿalnāhu
We (would) surely, make it
البتہ ہم کردیں اس کو
حُطَامًا

فَظَلۡتُمۡ
faẓaltum
then you would remain
تو رہ جاؤ تم
تَفَكَّهُوۡنَ
tafakkahūna
wondering
تم باتیں بناتے
Urdu —
اگر ہم چاہیں تو اسے ریزہ ریزہ کر دیں پھر تم تعجب اور ندامت ہی کرتے رہ جاؤo
— English
If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder,
اِنَّا لَمُغۡرَمُوۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Inna lamughramoon
اِنَّا
innā
`Indeed, we
بیشک ہم
لَمُغۡرَمُوۡنَۙ
lamugh'ramūna
surely are laden with debt
البتہ تاوان ڈالے گئے ہیں
Urdu —
(اور کہنے لگو): ہم پر تاوان پڑ گیاo
— English
[Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt;
بَلۡ نَحۡنُ مَحۡرُوۡمُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Bal nahnu mahroomoon
بَلۡ
bal
Nay,
بلکہ
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
we
ہم
مَحۡرُوۡمُوۡنَ
maḥrūmūna
(are) deprived
محروم کردیئے گئے ہیں
Urdu —
بلکہ ہم بے نصیب ہوگئےo
— English
Rather, we have been deprived."
اَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ الۡمَآءَ الَّذِىۡ تَشۡرَبُوۡنَؕ
— Transliteration
Afaraaytumu almaa allatheetashraboon
اَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ

Do you see
کیا بھلا دیکھا تم نے
الۡمَآءَ

the water
پانی کو
الَّذِىۡ

تَشۡرَبُوۡنَؕ

And have you seen the water that you drink?
ءَاَنۡتُمۡ اَنۡزَلۡتُمُوۡهُ مِنَ الۡمُزۡنِ اَمۡ نَحۡنُ الۡمُنۡزِلُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Aantum anzaltumoohu mina almuzni am nahnualmunziloon
ءَاَنۡـتُمۡ

Is it you
کیا تم
اَنۡزَلۡـتُمُوۡهُ

who send it down
اتارتے ہو تم اس کو
مِنَ

the rain clouds

(are) the Ones to send

کیا اسے تم نے بادل سے اتارا ہے یا ہم اتارنے والے ہیںo
— English
Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down?
لَوۡ نَشَآءُ جَعَلۡنٰهُ اُجَاجًا فَلَوۡلَا تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Law nashao jaAAalnahu ojajanfalawla tashkuroon
لَوۡ

We (could) make it

**then why are you not grateful?

then why are you not grateful

اگر ہم چاہیں تو اسے کھاری بنا دیں، پھر تم شکر ادا کیوں نہیں کرتےo
— English
If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?
اَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ النَّارَ الَّتِىۡ تُوۡرُوۡنَؕ
— Transliteration
Afaraaytumu annara allateetooroon
اَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ

Do you see
کیا پھر دیکھا تم نے
النَّارَ

the Fire
آگ کو
الَّتِىۡ

تُوۡرُوۡنَؕ

And have you seen the fire that you ignite?
ءَاَنۡتُمۡ اَنۡشَاۡتُمۡ شَجَرَتَهَاۤ اَمۡ نَحۡنُ الۡمُنۡشِـُٔـوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Aantum ansha/tum shajarataha am nahnualmunshi-oon
ءَاَنۡتُمۡ

Is it you
کیا تم
اَنۡشَاۡتُمۡ

who produced
اگاتے ہو تم
شَجَرَتَهَاۤ
shajaratahā
its tree

(are) the Producers
اگانے والے ہیں
Urdu —
کیا اِس کے درخت کو تم نے پیدا کیا ہے یا ہم (اسے) پیدا فرمانے والے ہیںo
— English
Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?
نَحۡنُ جَعَلۡنٰهَا تَذۡكِرَةً وَّمَتَاعًا لِّلۡمُقۡوِيۡنَۚ
— Transliteration
Nahnu jaAAalnaha tathkiratanwamataAAan lilmuqween
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
We
ہم نے
جَعَلۡنٰهَا
jaʿalnāhā
have made it
بنادیا ہم نے اس کو
تَذۡكِرَةً
tadhkiratan
a reminder
نصیحت کا سبب
وَّمَتَاعًا
wamatāʿan
and a provision
اور فائدے کی چیز
لِّلۡمُقۡوِيۡنَۚ
lil'muq'wīna
for the wayfarers in the desert
مسافروں کے لیے
Urdu —
ہم ہی نے اِس (درخت کی آگ) کو (آتشِ جہنّم کی) یاد دلانے والی (نصیحت و عبرت) اور جنگلوں کے مسافروں کے لئے باعثِ منفعت بنایا ہےo
— English
We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers,
فَسَبِّحۡ بِاسۡمِ رَبِّكَ الۡعَظِيۡمِ
— Transliteration
Fasabbih bismi rabbika alAAatheem
فَسَبِّحۡ
fasabbiḥ
So glorify
پس تسبیح کیجیے
بِاسۡمِ
bi-is'mi
(the) name
نام کی
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
اپنے رب
الۡعَظِيۡمِ
l-ʿaẓīmi
the Most Great
عظیم کے (نام کی)
Urdu —
سو اپنے ربِّ عظیم کے نام کی تسبیح کیا کریںo
— English
So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
فَلَاۤ اُقۡسِمُ بِمَوٰقِعِ النُّجُوۡمِۙ
— Transliteration
Fala oqsimu bimawaqiAAi annujoom
فَلَاۤ
falā
But nay,
پس نہیں
اُقۡسِمُ
uq'simu
I swear
میں قسم کھاتا ہوں
بِمَوٰقِعِ
bimawāqiʿi
by setting
مواقع کی۔ غروب ہونے کی جگہوں کی
النُّجُوۡمِۙ
l-nujūmi
(of) the stars
تاروں کے
Urdu —
پس میں اُن جگہوں کی قَسم کھاتا ہوں جہاں جہاں قرآن کے مختلف حصے (رسولِ عربی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر) اترتے ہیں٭o
— English
Then I swear by the setting of the stars,
وَاِنَّهٗ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ عَظِيۡمٌۙ
— Transliteration
Wa-innahu laqasamun law taAAlamoona AAatheem
وَاِنَّهٗ
wa-innahu
And indeed, it
اور بیشک وہ
لَقَسَمٌ

عَظِيۡمٌۙ

بہت بڑی۔ عظیم
Urdu —
اور اگر تم سمجھو تو بیشک یہ بہت بڑی قَسم ہےo
— English
And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great.
اِنَّهٗ لَـقُرۡاٰنٌ كَرِيۡمٌۙ
— Transliteration
Innahu laqur-anun kareem
اِنَّهٗ
innahu
Indeed, it
بیشک وہ
لَـقُرۡاٰنٌ
laqur'ānun
(is) surely, a Quran
البتہ ایک قرآن ہے
كَرِيۡمٌۙ
karīmun
noble
عزت والا
Urdu —
بیشک یہ بڑی عظمت والا قرآن ہے (جو بڑی عظمت والے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر اتر رہا ہے)o
— English
Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an
فِىۡ كِتٰبٍ مَّكۡنُوۡنٍۙ
— Transliteration
Fee kitabin maknoon
فِىۡ
fī
In
میں
كِتٰبٍ
kitābin
a Book
ایک کتاب
مَّكۡنُوۡنٍۙ
maknūnin
well-guarded
محفوظ
Urdu —
(اس سے پہلے یہ) لوحِ محفوظ میں (لکھا ہوا) ہےo
— English
In a Register well-protected;
لَّا يَمَسُّهٗۤ اِلَّا الۡمُطَهَّرُوۡنَؕ
— Transliteration
La yamassuhu illa almutahharoon
لَّا
lā
None
نہیں
يَمَسُّهٗۤ
yamassuhu
touch it
چھوتے اس کو
اِلَّا
illā
except
مگر
الۡمُطَهَّرُوۡنَؕ
l-muṭaharūna
the purified
مطہرین۔ پاکیزہ لوگ
Urdu —
اس کو پاک (طہارت والے) لوگوں کے سوا کوئی نہیں چُھوئے گاo
— English
None touch it except the purified.
تَنۡزِيۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Tanzeelun min rabbi alAAalameen
تَنۡزِيۡلٌ
tanzīlun
A Revelation
نازل کردہ ہے
مِّنۡ

from
طرف سے
رَّبِّ
rabbi
(the) Lord
رب
الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ
l-ʿālamīna
(of) the worlds
العالمین کی
Urdu —
تمام جہانوں کے ربّ کی طرف سے اتارا گیا ہےo
— English
[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
اَفَبِهٰذَا الۡحَـدِيۡثِ اَنۡتُمۡ مُّدۡهِنُوۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Afabihatha alhadeethi antummudhinoon
اَفَبِهٰذَا
afabihādhā
Then is it to this
کیا بھلا
الۡحَـدِيۡثِ
l-ḥadīthi
statement
اس بات کے بارے میں
اَنۡتُمۡ
antum
that you
تم
مُّدۡهِنُوۡنَۙ
mud'hinūna
(are) indifferent
معمولی سمجھنے والے ہو۔ انکار کرنے والے ہو
Urdu —
سو کیا تم اسی کلام کی تحقیر کرتے ہوo
— English
Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent
وَتَجۡعَلُوۡنَ رِزۡقَكُمۡ اَنَّكُمۡ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
WatajAAaloona rizqakum annakum tukaththiboon
وَتَجۡعَلُوۡنَ
watajʿalūna
And you make
اور تم بناتے ہو
رِزۡقَكُمۡ
riz'qakum
your provision
اپنا حصہ
اَنَّكُمۡ
annakum
that you
بیشک تم
تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ
tukadhibūna
deny
تم جھٹلاتے ہو
Urdu —
اور تم نے اپنا رِزق (اور نصیب) اسی بات کو بنا رکھا ہے کہ تم (اسے) جھٹلاتے رہوo
— English
And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]?
فَلَوۡلَاۤ اِذَا بَلَغَتِ الۡحُـلۡقُوۡمَۙ
— Transliteration
Falawla itha balaghati alhulqoom
فَلَوۡلَاۤ
falawlā
Then why not
پس کیوں نہیں
اِذَا
idhā
when
جب
بَلَغَتِ
balaghati
it reaches
پہنچ جاتی ہے
الۡحُـلۡقُوۡمَۙ
l-ḥul'qūma
the throat
حلق کو۔ نرخرے کو
Urdu —
پھر کیوں نہیں (روح کو واپس لوٹا لیتے) جب وہ (پرواز کرنے کے لئے) حلق تک آپہنچتی ہےo
— English
Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat
وَاَنۡتُمۡ حِيۡنَٮِٕذٍ تَـنۡظُرُوۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Waantum heena-ithin tanthuroona
وَاَنۡتُمۡ
wa-antum
And you
اور تم
حِيۡنَٮِٕذٍ
ḥīna-idhin
(at) that time
اس وقت
تَـنۡظُرُوۡنَۙ
tanẓurūna
look on
تم دیکھ رہے ہوتے ہو۔ تم آنکھوں دیکھتے ہو
Urdu —
اور تم اس وقت دیکھتے ہی رہ جاتے ہوo
— English
And you are at that time looking on -
وَنَحۡنُ اَقۡرَبُ اِلَيۡهِ مِنۡكُمۡ وَلٰـكِنۡ لَّا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Wanahnu aqrabu ilayhi minkum walakinla tubsiroon
وَنَحۡنُ
wanaḥnu
And We
اور ہم
اَقۡرَبُ
aqrabu
(are) nearer
زیادہ قریب ہوتے ہیں
اِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to him
اس کی طرف
مِنۡكُمۡ
minkum
than you
تمہاری نسبت
وَلٰـكِنۡ
walākin
but
لیکن
لَّا
lā
**you (do) not see,
نہیں
تُبۡصِرُوۡنَ
tub'ṣirūna
you (do) not see
تم دیکھ پاتے
Urdu —
اور ہم اس (مرنے والے) سے تمہاری نسبت زیادہ قریب ہوتے ہیں لیکن تم (ہمیں) دیکھتے نہیں ہوo
— English
And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see -
فَلَوۡلَاۤ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ غَيۡرَ مَدِيۡنِيۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Falawla in kuntum ghayra madeeneen
فَلَوۡلَاۤ
falawlā
Then why not,
پس کیوں نہیں
اِنۡ
in
if
اگر ہو
كُنۡتُمۡ
kuntum
you are
تم
غَيۡرَ
ghayra
not
نہیں
مَدِيۡنِيۡنَۙ
madīnīna
to be recompensed
اختیار میں۔ نہیں جزا دیئے ہوئے۔ زیر فرمان
Urdu —
پھر کیوں نہیں (ایسا کر سکتے) اگر تم کسی کی مِلک و اختیار میں نہیں ہوo
— English
Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed,
تَرۡجِعُوۡنَهَاۤ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
TarjiAAoonaha in kuntum sadiqeen
تَرۡجِعُوۡنَهَاۤ
tarjiʿūnahā
Bring it back
تم لوٹاتے اس کو
اِنۡ
in
if
اگر
كُنۡتُمۡ
kuntum
you are
ہو تم
صٰدِقِيۡنَ
ṣādiqīna
truthful
سچے
Urdu —
کہ اس (رُوح) کو واپس پھیر لو اگر تم سچّے ہوo
— English
Bring it back, if you should be truthful?
فَاَمَّاۤ اِنۡ كَانَ مِنَ الۡمُقَرَّبِيۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Faamma in kana minaalmuqarrabeen
فَاَمَّاۤ
fa-ammā
Then
پھر اگر
اِنۡ
in
if
اگر
كَانَ
kāna
he was
ہے وہ
مِنَ
mina
of
میں سے
الۡمُقَرَّبِيۡنَۙ
l-muqarabīna
those brought near
مقربین
Urdu —
پھر اگر وہ (وفات پانے والا) مقرّبین میں سے تھاo
— English
And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah,
فَرَوۡحٌ وَّرَيۡحَانٌ ۙ وَّجَنَّتُ نَعِيۡمٍ
— Transliteration
Farawhun warayhanun wajannatunaAAeem
فَرَوۡحٌ
farawḥun
Then rest
تو راحت ہے
وَّ رَيۡحَانٌ ۙ
warayḥānun
and bounty
اور رزق ہے
وَّجَنَّتُ
wajannatu
and a Garden
اور جنت ہے
نَعِيۡمٍ
naʿīmin
(of) Pleasure
نعمتوں والی
Urdu —
تو (اس کے لئے) سرور و فرحت اور روحانی رزق و استراحت اور نعمتوں بھری جنت ہےo
— English
Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure.
وَاَمَّاۤ اِنۡ كَانَ مِنۡ اَصۡحٰبِ الۡيَمِيۡنِۙ
— Transliteration
Waamma in kana min as-habialyameen
وَاَمَّاۤ
wa-ammā
And
اور لیکن
اِنۡ
in
if
اگر
كَانَ
kāna
he was
ہے
مِنۡ
min
of
میں سے
اَصۡحٰبِ
aṣḥābi
(the) companions
والوں
الۡيَمِيۡنِۙ
l-yamīni
(of) the right
دائیں ہاتھ
Urdu —
اور اگر وہ اصحاب الیمین میں سے تھاo
— English
And if he was of the companions of the right,
فَسَلٰمٌ لَّكَ مِنۡ اَصۡحٰبِ الۡيَمِيۡنِؕ
— Transliteration
Fasalamun laka min as-habialyameen
فَسَلٰمٌ
fasalāmun
Then, peace
تو سلام ہے
لَّكَ
laka
for you;
تیرے لیے
مِنۡ
min
[from]
میں سے ہو
اَصۡحٰبِ
aṣḥābi
(the) companions
والوں
الۡيَمِيۡنِؕ
l-yamīni
(of) the right
دائیں ہاتھ
Urdu —
تو (اس سے کہا جائے گا:) تمہارے لئے دائیں جانب والوں کی طرف سے سلام ہے (یا اے نبی! آپ پر اصحابِ یمین کی جانب سے سلام ہے)o
— English
Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right."
وَاَمَّاۤ اِنۡ كَانَ مِنَ الۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ الضَّآلِّيۡنَۙ
— Transliteration
Waamma in kana mina almukaththibeenaaddalleen
وَاَمَّاۤ
wa-ammā
But
اور لیکن
اِنۡ
in
if
اگر
كَانَ
kāna
he was
ہے
مِنَ
mina
of
میں سے
الۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ
l-mukadhibīna
the deniers
جھٹلانے والوں
الضَّآلِّيۡنَۙ
l-ḍālīna
the astray
بہکے ہوئے لوگوں میں سے
Urdu —
اور اگر وہ (مرنے والا) جھٹلانے والے گمراہوں میں سے تھاo
— English
But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray,
فَنُزُلٌ مِّنۡ حَمِيۡمٍۙ
— Transliteration
Fanuzulun min hameem
فَنُزُلٌ
fanuzulun
Then, hospitality
تو مہمانی ہے
مِّنۡ
min
of
میں سے
حَمِيۡمٍۙ
ḥamīmin
(the) scalding water
کھولتے پانی
Urdu —
تو (اس کی) سخت کھولتے ہوئے پانی سے ضیافت ہوگیo
— English
Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water
وَّتَصۡلِيَةُ جَحِيۡمٍ
— Transliteration
Watasliyatu jaheem
وَّتَصۡلِيَةُ
wataṣliyatu
And burning
اور داخل ہونا ہے۔ جھونکا جانا ہے
جَحِيۡمٍ
jaḥīmin
(in) Hellfire
جہنم میں
Urdu —
اور (اس کا انجام) دوزخ میں داخل کر دیا جانا ہےo
— English
And burning in Hellfire
اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ الۡيَـقِيۡنِۚ
— Transliteration
Inna hatha lahuwa haqqualyaqeen
اِنَّ
inna
Indeed,
بیشک
هٰذَا
hādhā
this
یہ
لَهُوَ
lahuwa
surely, it
البتہ وہی ہے
حَقُّ
ḥaqqu
(is the) truth
حق
الۡيَـقِيۡنِۚ
l-yaqīni
certain
یقینی
Urdu —
بیشک یہی قطعی طور پر حق الیقین ہےo
— English
Indeed, this is the true certainty,
فَسَبِّحۡ بِاسۡمِ رَبِّكَ الۡعَظِيۡمِ
— Transliteration
Fasabbih bismi rabbika alAAatheem
فَسَبِّحۡ
fasabbiḥ
So glorify
پس تسبیح کیجیے
بِاسۡمِ
bi-is'mi
(the) name
نام کی
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
اپنے رب
الۡعَظِيۡمِ
l-ʿaẓīmi
the Most Great
عظیم کے
Urdu —
سو آپ اپنے ربِّ عظیم کے نام کی تسبیح کیا کریںo
— English
So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
