وَالۡعٰدِيٰتِ ضَبۡحًاۙ
— Transliteration
WalAAadiyati dabha
وَالۡعٰدِيٰتِ
wal-ʿādiyāti
By the racers
قسم ہے دوڑنے والیوں کی
ضَبۡحًا ۙ
ḍabḥan
panting
ہانپ کر
Urdu —
(میدانِ جہاد میں) تیز دوڑنے والے گھوڑوں کی قَسم جو ہانپتے ہیںo
— English
By the racers, panting,
فَالۡمُوۡرِيٰتِ قَدۡحًاۙ
— Transliteration
Falmooriyati qadha
فَالۡمُوۡرِيٰتِ
fal-mūriyāti
And the producers of sparks
پھر قسم ہے آگ نکالنے والیوں کی
قَدۡحًا ۙ
qadḥan
striking
جھاڑ کر
Urdu —
پھر جو پتھروں پر سُم مار کر چنگاریاں نکالتے ہیںo
— English
And the producers of sparks [when] striking
فَالۡمُغِيۡرٰتِ صُبۡحًاۙ
— Transliteration
Falmugheerati subha
فَالۡمُغِيۡرٰتِ
fal-mughīrāti
And the chargers
پھر قسم ہے چھاپہ مارنے والیوں کی
صُبۡحًا ۙ
ṣub'ḥan
(at) dawn
صبح کے وقت
Urdu —
پھر جو صبح ہوتے ہی (دشمن پر) اچانک حملہ کر ڈالتے ہیںo
— English
And the chargers at dawn,
فَاَثَرۡنَ بِهٖ نَقۡعًاۙ
— Transliteration
Faatharna bihi naqAAa
فَاَثَرۡنَ
fa-atharna
Then raise
پھر قسم ہے اڑانے والیاں
بِهٖ
bihi
thereby
ساتھ اس کے
نَقۡعًا ۙ
naqʿan
dust
غبار کو
Urdu —
پھر وہ اس (حملے والی) جگہ سے گرد و غبار اڑاتے ہیںo
— English
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهٖ جَمۡعًاۙ
— Transliteration
Fawasatna bihi jamAAa
فَوَسَطۡنَ
fawasaṭna
Then penetrate (in the) center
پھر گھس جانے والیاں
بِهٖ
bihi
**Then penetrate thereby (in the) center
ساتھ اس کے
جَمۡعًا ۙ
jamʿan
collectively
جماعت میں/ گروہ میں
Urdu —
پھر وہ اسی وقت (دشمن کے) لشکر میں گھس جاتے ہیںo
— English
Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
اِنَّ الۡاِنۡسَانَ لِرَبِّهٖ لَـكَنُوۡدٌۚ
— Transliteration
Inna al-insana lirabbihi lakanood
اِنَّ
inna
Indeed,
یقیناً
الۡاِنۡسَانَ
l-insāna
mankind
انسان
لِرَبِّهٖ
lirabbihi
to his Lord
اپنے رب کے لئے
لَـكَنُوۡدٌ ۚ
lakanūdun
(is) surely ungrateful
البتہ ناشکرا ہے
Urdu —
بیشک انسان اپنے رب کا بڑا ہی ناشکرا ہےo
— English
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
وَاِنَّهٗ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ لَشَهِيۡدٌۚ
— Transliteration
Wa-innahu AAala thalikalashaheed
وَاِنَّهٗ
wa-innahu
And indeed, he
اور بیشک وہ
عَلٰى
ʿalā
to
اوپر
ذٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
اس کے
لَشَهِيۡدٌ ۚ
lashahīdun
surely (is) a witness
البتہ گواہ ہے
Urdu —
اور یقیناً وہ اس (ناشکری) پر خود گواہ ہےo
— English
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
وَاِنَّهٗ لِحُبِّ الۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيۡدٌؕ
— Transliteration
Wa-innahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeed
وَاِنَّهٗ
wa-innahu
And indeed he (is),
اور بیشک وہ
لِحُبِّ
liḥubbi
in (the) love
محبت میں
الۡخَيۡرِ
l-khayri
(of) wealth
مال کی
لَشَدِيۡدٌ ؕ
lashadīdun
(is) surely intense
البتہ سخت ہے
Urdu —
اور بیشک وہ مال کی محبت میں بہت سخت ہےo
— English
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
اَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ اِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِىۡ الۡقُبُوۡرِۙ
— Transliteration
Afala yaAAlamu itha buAAthira mafee alquboor
۞ اَفَلَا
afalā
But does not
کیا بھلا نہیں
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʿlamu
he know
وہ جانتا
اِذَا
idhā
when
جب
بُعۡثِرَ
buʿ'thira
will be scattered
نکالا جائے گا
مَا
mā
what
جو
فِى
fī
(is) in
میں
الۡقُبُوۡرِۙ
l-qubūri
the graves
قبروں میں ہے
Urdu —
تو کیا اسے معلوم نہیں جب وہ (مُردے) اٹھائے جائیں گے جو قبروں میں ہیںo
— English
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِىۡ الصُّدُوۡرِۙ
— Transliteration
Wahussila ma fee assudoor
وَحُصِّلَ
waḥuṣṣila
And is made apparent
اور حاصل کرلیا جائے گا
مَا
mā
what
جو
فِى
fī
(is) in
میں
الصُّدُوۡرِۙ
l-ṣudūri
the breasts
سینوں میں ہے
Urdu —
اور (راز) ظاہر کر دیئے جائیں گے جو سینوں میں ہیںo
— English
And that within the breasts is obtained,
اِنَّ رَبَّهُمۡ بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لَّخَبِيۡرٌ
— Transliteration
Inna rabbahum bihim yawma-ithinlakhabeer
اِنَّ
inna
Indeed,
بیشک
رَبَّهُمۡ
rabbahum
their Lord
رب ان کا
بِهِمۡ
bihim
about them,
ساتھ ان کے
يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ
yawma-idhin
that Day,
اس دن
لَّخَبِيۡرٌ
lakhabīrun
(is) surely All-Aware
البتہ باخبر ہے
Urdu —
بیشک ان کا رب اس دن ان (کے اعمال) سے خوب خبردار ہوگاo
— English
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.
