According to Imam Al-Tabari, Quran 11:96 affirms that Allah sent Prophet Musa (Moses) supported by divine proofs ('Ayatina') and a clear authority ('Sultan Mubin'). Classical scholars have synthesized the meaning of these terms, explaining that 'Ayatina' refers to the compelling miracles and revelations given to Musa, most notably the nine signs mentioned elsewhere in the Quran, such as his staff and radiant hand.
