وَاِذۡ قَالَتۡ اُمَّةٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ لِمَ تَعِظُوۡنَ قَوۡمَا ۨ ۙاۨللّٰهُ مُهۡلِكُهُمۡ اَوۡ مُعَذِّبُهُمۡ عَذَابًا شَدِيۡدًاؕ قَالُوۡا مَعۡذِرَةً اِلٰى رَبِّكُمۡ وَلَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُوۡنَ
wa-idh qaa-lat um-ma-tum~ min-hum li-ma ta-'i-dhoo-na qaw-man-il-laa-hu muh-li-ku-hum aw mu-'adh-dhi-bu-hum 'a-dhaa-ban~-sha-dee-dan~ qaa-loo ma'-dhi-ra-tan i-laa rab-bi-kum wa-la-'al-la-hum yat-ta-qoon
