وَكَمۡ اَهۡلَـكۡنَا مِنۡ قَرۡيَةٍۢ بَطِرَتۡ مَعِيۡشَتَهَاۚ فَتِلۡكَ مَسٰكِنُهُمۡ لَمۡ تُسۡكَنۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلاً ؕ وَّكُنَّا نَحۡنُ الۡوٰرِثِيۡنَ
wa-kam ah-lak-naa min-qar-ya-tim-ba-ti-rat ma-ii-sha-ta-haa fa-til-ka ma-saa-ki-nu-hum lam tus-kam-mim-ba-di-him il-laa qa-lii-law-wa-kun-naa nah-nul-waa-ri-theen
